Kendall Reilly

Kendall Reilly was born and raised in Arlington, Massachusetts, and developed her love for horses at a young age after watching her older sister begin taking riding lessons. That early introduction quickly grew into a passion of her own. Kendall spent nine years riding and working at an eventing barn, gaining valuable hands-on experience with horses before attending Johnson & Wales University.

At Johnson & Wales, Kendall earned her degree in Equine Business Management and was a member of the university's dressage team for three years. During her senior year, she served as team captain, further developing her leadership skills and knowledge of equine care and management.

While in college, Kendall completed a summer internship with an accomplished dressage trainer specializing in starting young horses, developing upper-level dressage horses, and working with horses with a wide range of behavioral challenges. Her experience included working with anxious and aggressive horses, rescue horses, BLM mustangs, and other horses requiring an individualized and patient approach. Through this experience, Kendall developed a deeper understanding of how horses think, learn, and respond to the world around them, knowledge she continues to use in both her professional work and her own horsemanship.

After graduating, Kendall moved to New Hampshire, where she worked as the barn manager and assistant trainer at a 40-horse dressage facility. Her extensive background in horse handling, training, and barn management eventually led her to veterinary medicine and her role as a Veterinary Technician at South Shore Equine Clinic & Diagnostic Center.

Kendall has a special appreciation for horses that require a little extra time, patience, and understanding. She finds working with the "quirky ones" particularly rewarding and enjoys finding ways to help each horse feel comfortable and confident.

Kendall currently owns a young Thoroughbred whom she started under saddle herself and is developing as her dressage prospect. Outside of work, she enjoys riding, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She also loves to travel and has visited Ireland, Scotland, and Italy, with plenty more destinations on her list. When she isn't at the barn or planning her next trip, Kendall can usually be found enjoying true crime or anything horror-related.
