Major is an eight year old Thoroughbred that was seen by the doctors at South Shore Equine Clinic and Diagnostic Center for acute onset of hives.

Case 6 – “Roxie” 10-year-old Quarter Horse Mare

ROXIE was admitted to the South Shore Equine Clinic & Diagnostic Center on March 20, 2010, after being evaluated in the field for a puncture wound to the left throatlatch region, just below the linguofacial vein.

Case 7 – “Mambo” 17-year-old Appendix Quarter Horse Gelding

Mambo is a 17 year old QH gelding. He has been healthy and exercised routinely as a pleasure and trail horse.

Case 8 – “Charles” 14-year-old Warmblood Gelding

Charles, a 14 year old Warmblood gelding, was seen for an acute right forelimb lameness noted 2 days prior.

Case 9 – “Shyanne” 8-year-old Paint Mare

Lisa was having a problem with one of her horses. “Shyanne” was a bit off for the last week, but had now become very sore footed.

Case 10 – “Canajoharie” 9-year-old Thoroughbred Gelding

Canajoharie is a 9 YO THB gelding. He was displaying signs of abdominal discomfort including pawing, looking at the flanks, and attempting to lie down.
