Jennifer Anastos

Jenny Anastos was raised in a suburb outside St. Louis, Missouri. She has always had a love for animals, but especially horses. She began English riding at a young age. Jenny left the Midwest to attend UMASS Amherst where she received her Bachelor of Science degree. She began a career in Human Resources and had her son, Colin.

Jenny continued to take riding lessons as an adult and competed in some jumper classes. She worked at a barn, received her riding instructor’s license and taught children’s riding camps. Her love for horses continued to grow and grow. Jenny went back to school at Mount Ida College where she received her Associate degree in Veterinary Technology. She began working as a large animal vet tech in a large animal hospital where she gained more knowledge and technical skills. Jenny is also certified in equine massage and has had experience working as a technician in a small animal practice. She is thankful to have had so many great opportunities and is excited to join the team at South Shore Equine Clinic.

During Jenny’s spare time she enjoys spending time with loved ones, boating, traveling, and hanging out with her dog, Ty.
