Catherine Arruda

Catherine Cook, a Plymouth Massachusetts native, discovered her passion for horses at the age of ten. She pursued her interest in veterinary medicine by earning a Bachelors of Science in Veterinary Technology from Mount Ida College in 2014.

Immediately following her graduation, Catherine joined the team at South Shore Equine Clinic where she applies her extensive technical skills in equine veterinary medicine. Catherine enjoys caring for all breeds of horses in the veterinary setting. Her interests include general medicine, lameness, dentistry, internal medicine, anesthesia and surgery. Essentially if there is a horse involved Catherine is interested!

Outside of her professional role, Catherine can be found enjoying the little things in life. Catherine enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family and friends and her rescue dog, Ritz.
