Mary Doherty is originally from Minnesota farm country and currently lives in Scituate, MA. Mary is excited to join the practice and accept the challenge and opportunity to grow personally and professionally along with South Shore Equine Clinic.  

As Farm Steward living on the historic Weir River Farm in Hingham with her family, Mary designed and implemented animal husbandry standards, pasture management plans and education programming for The Trustees of Reservations. Most recently, as a customer service specialist at a small animal hospital, Mary worked to expand her animal care knowledge base and client support expertise.  

When not at SSEC, Mary can most likely be found at the barn exercising her geldings or at a show grooming for her daughter, who competes on the Appaloosa circuit. She is most often accompanied by her dog Hank.
