Cara Pimental - Certified Veterinary Technician

Cara Pimental, a certified veterinary technician and horse enthusiast, is a native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She grew up riding and caring for horses on her family's farm in Sandwich. After studying music briefly at Berklee College, she went on to complete an Associate's degree in veterinary technology at Becker College. Before joining the team at South Shore Equine Clinic, she worked at the Hospital for Large Animals at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.

In her spare time, Cara enjoys gardening, cooking, baseball, yoga, hiking and running with her dog. She also spends time with her family on the Cape, helping to run their small business in Cotuit.

Cara is excited to have joined to South Shore family, and looks forward to expanding her knowledge of equine nursing care while helping to bring quality care to horses in our community.
